Conjecture · version 1

Eventual mixed-moment vanishing in every dimension

Statement

For every n ≥ 1 and every P∈C[x1,…,xn]P\in\mathbb C[x_1,\ldots,x_n], if E[P(X)m]=0\mathbb E[P(X)^m]=0 for every m ≥ 1, then for each Q∈C[x1,…,xn]Q\in\mathbb C[x_1,\ldots,x_n] there is M such that E[Q(X)P(X)m]=0\mathbb E[Q(X)P(X)^m]=0 for every m ≥ M.

Assumptions

  • X consists of n independent standard real Gaussians.
  • Positive integer powers; the threshold may depend on P and Q.

Scope

The all-dimensional assertion fails already at n = 3.
